Job Title : Store Manager Canal Walk
Sector Title : Retail Stores

Drive results to ensure that the store achieves maximum sales and productivity goals through functional leadership effective communication world class service effective talent management merchandising excellence and operational compliance Also responsible for minimising risks and effectively monitoring store and team activities motivating team members and creating a vibrant energetic environment

Financial Management
Plan and achieve individual and store budget daily weekly monthly
Meet and exceed personal sales targets on a weekly/ monthly basis
Accurate and timeous banking and reconciliations
Oversee and conduct GRVs and IBTs
Management and control of manual sales books
Stock transfer documentation and procedure
Day end procedures
Effective control and compliance of IOUs and disbursements procedures
Responsible for ensuring the store achieves conversion rate unit per transaction and average transactional value goals
Effectively control all store expenses within the set budget

Talent Management
Identify training needs of staff
Ensuring staff rosters are submitted and accurate
Creation and management of staff rosters and timekeeping
Draw up monthly and individual sales targets
Monitor staff targets
Monitor sales performance of team members and provide timeous feedback
Accurate supervision of store team timekeeping on a daily basis
Disciplinary process in conjunction with HR/ Management
Staff presentation
Evaluate store performance and provide coaching mentoring and motivation to staff
Train and develop store team and identify ongoing development needs
Support the development of new employees
Issue staff uniforms when instructed by Area Manager
Oversee adherence to staff uniform requirements
Conduct/ attend daily meeting with all staff prior to store opening

Customer Service
Deal effectively with customer queries and complaints
Keeping uptodate with product knowledge
Drive the process for obtaining new clients and building customer relationships
Provide premium customer service
Customer follow up on orders/ queries/ requests

Product Management
Assist with regular stock counts and stock takes
Stock replenishment on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Ensure loss prevention awareness and shrinkage control through exceptional world class service and effective enforcement of policies and procedures
Controlling the store inventory levels
Responsible for the daytoday operations of the store
Ensure the stores and displays entrance current promotions and signage are well maintained at all times
Receiving deliveries and ensuring deliveries are accurately received unpacked and merchandised
Stock refill and topups
Maintain a neat and clean presentation of the merchandise

Store Maintenance
Assets fixtures fittings and electrical management
Ensure all operating systems within the store are checked regularly and are in good working condition
Ensure the stockroom is orderly and tidy
Ensure the store is clean and tidy before and after hours

General
Refer any escalated issues to the Area Manager/ HR
Demonstrate professionalism leadership brand passion and selfconfidence
Reporting back to the Area Manager on a weekly basis
Attending conference calls on a weekly basis
General administration
Evaluating sales reports and customer feedbacks
Identify possible candidates for vacancies in the store
Study market trends and competitor strategic moves
Uphold company values in an exemplary manner
Adhere to Health and Safety practices/ codes
Adhere to Company policies and procedures
Any adhoc duties as required from time to time

Requirements
3 to 5 years management experience within a premium retail apparel brand
Matric
MUST have a proven sales track record in another premium retail brand

Salary Market related based on qualifications and experience
