Our client a globally represented premium retail brand is searching for a dynamic energetic and experienced Store Manager/ Department Manager for the outlet based at Tygervalley Cape Town The successful candidate would be responsible for the smooth daily running of the outlet in order to ensure sales & profit performance and customer service level

Key Performance Areas
Achieve the sales and profitability targets as defined in the annual budget avoidance of stock outs stock status
Quality of service customer satisfaction
Management Meetings and Monthly Team Meetings to align on target & priorities
Ensure that the organisation runs smoothly with regards to customer expectations
Respond appropriately to customer complaints
Proactively ensure the accuracy of the Customer Database
Lead and manage a team of Sales Specialists
Set individual objectives monitor and evaluate performance
Ensure seamless and consistent customer experience
Collect cash and organise appropriate transfer to the Bank
Anticipate the requirements for each area of activity and ensure continually adequate stock place orders check deliveries
Establish annual sales and work level forecasts with the National Operations Manager
Ensure weekly and monthly reporting
Build motivate and manage the team
Inventory Management
Implement and fully responsible for the application of operational procedures and follow the Quality & SHE systems including the compliance to all standards and to local regulatory requirements
Motivate team to help implementation of quality standards
Ensure that the different areas in the outlet are in accordance with the international guidelines

Post Matric qualification would be highly advantageous
3 to 5 years retail store management experience with a leading/ premium retail brand/ company
Experience in customer complaint management
Experience in project management processes and change management
Experience in people management motivation and development of direct reports

Remuneration Market related as well as pension fund and commissions
