Our client is searching for an Underwriting and Claims Manager to be part of their Short Term team The company is seeking an individual who displays natural leadership qualities and has a high drive to succeed Strong analytical and process improvement skills are required along with a
passion for the coaching and development of people

Duties and Functions
Keep track of all enquiries/ tasks in the shortterm division
Execute on personal and commercial underwriting/ amendments requests
Request quote from various insurers for personal/ commercial new business renewals and retention
Handle certain complex claims when required
Work closely with Junior Administrator to ensure that all tasks/enquiries are attended to
Support Manager in managing the operation of the division with processes compliance meetings etc
Help upskill staff in the team

Requirements
5 to 10 relevant industry experience particularly underwriting and claims
Senior Certificate
RE5 Certificate
Relevant accreditation for domestic and commercial short term
Valid drivers licence and own transport essential
Computer literate
FAIS Compliance
