Our client is searching for Knitting/Factory Manager to be based in Durban The ideal candidate would be one who has strong knowledge and experience working with Circular Knitting Machines

Responsibilities
Ensuring production needs are met
Monitoring time keeping and absenteeism for factory staff
Absentee cover planning
Ensuring  machines are on the correct knitting quality knowledge of different fabric qualities which can be done on different machines and in good running order
Ordering of parts needles etc
Checking fabric quality
Checking rejects etc
Opening and closing of the factory
General maintenance on a whole for the company
Ensuring fire equipment is up to date
Liaise with security company when required

Requirements
Knowledge of Monarch Pailung and Sanyong knitting machines 24g 28g 18g Circular Knitting Machines
Being able to do full servicing on these machines know all parts and what these machine require
Should know how to dissemble and reassemble the machines full Mechanic/technician experience
Have production knowledge
Knitting staff management experience
