Our client is searching for a Sales Manager to be based at their Menlyn The ideal candidate would be one with a strong background in retail merchandise sales preferably within an electronics and appliances chain or retail organisation Further to this the candidate must demonstrate excellent financial management and merchandising skills

Key Performance Areas
Sales
Responsible for all store advertising and coordinating instore promotional activity executing the overall merchandise strategy
Manage vendors and suppliers sales support & demonstrations
Monitor promotional stock levels

Stock & Merchandise
Schedule range reports to identify complete range to be merchandised
Effective Liaison with buyers & planners on all stock issues
Manage Stock replenishment and integrity

Administration & Compliance
Risk Management including working with the Store Manager to ensure compliance with appropriate laws and regulations in the facility Performs audits to assess compliance levels
Ensure that all policies & procedures are adhered to in order to ensure that shrinkage is kept to a minimum
Manage training/HR/IR issues

People & Service
Drive a CustomerCentric culture

Select train & motivate a sales team that strives on excellence in order to achieve the required standards in all areas

Requirements
2 to 3 years Sales Management experience in a large FMCG/ HiTech Retail environment
Must have the ability to lead and influence/ manage and managing sales
Understanding of financial and merchandising
Strong customer centricity
Must demonstrate strong experience in Finance Sales / Margin Shrink Merchandising Shrink /standards/executing campaigns Relationship building with suppliers & buyers Customer
Experience of managing large teams and working with employee relations/ unions
Matric
Relevant degree or diploma advantageous
